Mission of the Promoting Body

To Promote and impart knowledge, to foster moral and spiritual values, to motivate creativeness and to install social awareness.
To start, establish and to maintain college/institution to impart education, undertake research, plan, evaluate, develop and enhance knowledge and understanding in field of science, electronics & telecommunication, computer science and its applications.
To create and increase opportunities for technology & science studies on the state of the art technology in the field of basic sciences, electronics & telecommunications, computer science & its application in general and that in the state of West Bengal in particular.
To train and equip the public so as to self-supporting in an honorable and decent way of life so as to develop into good, healthy and progressive citizens.
To impart training on job-oriented technical education well recognized by the respective industries in India and abroad.
To generate trained and ready-to-deploy knowledgeable workforce for the industry and thereby to achieve a social objective by providing employment opportunities in the state as a step forward for the next millennium.
Grant scholarship, stipend, prizes, fellowships, allowances so as to enable students to receive such education, training and qualification as the trustees may approve in such technical field.
Establish an educational institution, maintain, and run a boarding house, residential institution for student studying in the Institution or receiving education and training either scholastic or otherwise.
To give special care and attention to children hailing from middle and lower middle socio-economic class and include members of minority community social status.
The promotion of education and learning in respect of basic science, electronics & telecommunications, computer science & its application.
To encourage and promote researches, documentation and planning through seminars.
To provide for advancement of education in the field of science and technology and other objects for the general public utility not involving the carrying on of any activity for profit.
To do all acts, deeds and things as are necessary for or in relation to or conducive to the attainment of the above objects or any of them.
